This month one of the most amazing things in my life happened. More of that towards the end of the post, let's cover the beauty stuff first.
Beauty Favorites: I caved and got the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in Vanilla (£22.00). And I have not regretted it. It will get its own post, but for now let me sum it up: great coverage, yet creamy (so not cakey or creasing). The other favorite is the Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal in Bronze (£3.99). I love this for under the lower lash line. Once smudged, it does not budge. Word.
Book Favorite: Once again a book I thank my lovely friend Laure-Anne for; 12 Years A Slave by Solomon Northup. I have yet to watch the film adaptation, but in my opinion this is the best account of slavery in North-America. His perspective on humanity and the terrors of slavery is so astonishing.
(Random) Favorite of the month/life: On June 19th, I became both aunt and godmother. My sister gave birth to the most perfect little girl, called Estée. Words cannot explain how proud I am of her and how honored I am that she trusts me with this amazing responsibility. I love you lots, big sis.
Safe to say this month was a spectacular one. And on top of that, I got my second Master's degree at University. It has been a good year.
