July 2014 Favorites

July has been a month of storms and extreme heat. Typically Belgium. It also marked a sad goodbye and rediscoveries of old loves. Here we go...

Beauty Favorites: During Summer, I switch up my beloved coconut oil cleanser for a less heavy one. This year, it's the Body Shop Camomile Cleansing Oil (£10.00): it gently cleanses and leaves no greasy residue. For a more in-depth review, I suggest Caroline Hirons' post. I also rediscovered an old love, the Urban Decay Naked Palette (£37.00). This one is definitely worth its cult status.

Book Favorite: As a child, I was fascinated with everything WWII. Not because of the horrifying actions, but because of the stories people from both sides told. I have read many books on the subject, but my dad got me a WWII encyclopedia for my 12th birthday, which I've been rereading this month.

Random Favorite: July marked the end of my career at University. Although I will surely miss the atmosphere and seeing my lovely friends almost every day, I am ready for this new chapter of my life and I am proud of the things I have accomplished during these past 5 years.

What have been some of your favorites this month? And if you have any book recommendations, definitely let me know!
