On Trend: Mattification

As I said in my Fall Edit post, this season is all about matte textures. Now, I do love me some dewiness. But here are some of my favorite matte picks for this season.
Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette (£20.00) - As much as I love the original Naked Palette, I am much more of a matte eye shadow wearer. So when this cutie came out I was over the moon. It contains 5 matte shades and 1 highlight, which I think is very clever. I always take this with me when traveling, it is so compact and has everything a neutral gal like myself needs.
Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder (£3.99) - I don't know how many times I can mention this powder, but it is just so good at keeping your skin oil free during the day. I am not an oily person, but I find that this keeps my foundation stay on much longer. And the price is a major plus.
Rimmel Lasting Finish By Kate Moss in 03 (£5.49) - Completely matte lipsticks are not for me, as my lips are chapped and dry all the darn time. But this Rimmel one is the perfect blend of moisture and matte. Moisturizing lipsticks can slip and slide almost immediately, but this one stays really well. And you can't go wrong with a nude lip, right?
Barry M Matte Nail Paint in Crush (£3.99) - This is the very first matte polish I ever purchased. I went for red wine as fall was around the corner. I have to say that it's not for everyone. I love it, but my Boyfriend thinks it looks like dried blood. So definitely buy one to try it out before you stock up.
There you have it, my favorite picks for the matte trend of the season. Have you tried any of these? What do you think?
