*plays Christina Milian song over and over again*
The key here is speed. Not having much time in the morning, I like to get skincare and makeup done in 10 minutes. If you know me, that might be a shocker, but lately I've been trying to cut things down on the preparation time front. So here's my minimal, yet essential, winter morning skincare.
Step 1: This is not in the picture, but it's cold water. VITAL. If I don't splash my face with cold water in the morning, there's no chance I'll actually wake up.
Step 2: Bioderma (about £15.99) - I use this because I want to start with a clean surface. No time for cleansing in the morning, but Bioderma is more than enough on a bare face.
Step 3: La Roche-Posay Serozinc (about £10.00) - A soothing spray which works antibacterial. Again, for the clean surface purpose. It's also very refreshing in the morning.
Step 4: L'Oréal Skin Perfection Serum (£16.99) - Or the serum that I am using at that time. This has a light consistency, my skin just drinks it up. Great for when I don't want to wait for the next step.
Step 5: L'Oréal Skin Perfection Moisturizer (£14.99) - I love this one. It's light weight, it smells great and it hydrates the skin. Perfect for winter. Here's my review on both Skin Perfection products.
Step 6: Arran Aromatics Green Tea Eye Gel (£3.50) - This one is heavenly. It brightens up my eyes and moisturizes my under-eye area, which tends to be dry, especially during winter.
Step 7: Clarins Moisture Replenishing Lip Balm (£18.00) - Holy grail product. This moisturizes my lips like nothing else, and it stays put really well. Nothing but love for this lip balm.
Seven steps might seem a lot, but it takes me two minutes. Which leaves me with 8 to do my makeup. Not bad, huh? What are your winter skincare favorites? I'd love to get some recommendations!
