Confession: I am not a lipstick wearer, although I own at least 10 (I blame beauty marketing). I just never found the one. Conclusion: lipstick just isn't for me. Or is it?
I do am hard to please on this front. My lips are very dry and pigmented. Result? Lipstick can hurt my lips and sheen ones don't transfer well. My ideal lipstick: one that moisturizes and enhances my natural lip color (I am not brave enough to rock a bold color yet)... And heavens I think I found it.
The little gem is MAC's Pure Zen (£15.00). A cremesheen formula, meaning it doesn't dry out your lips as much. When the makeup artist put it on, I fell in love. Pure Zen makes my red lips slightly more nude, which I love. And it lasts for a good 4 hours - I'm impressed.
However, I do put some Nuxe Reve De Miel (£9.50) on before applying it. I find this works best, because it really moisturizes, yet has a matte finish.
Overall, I am very impressed and I can see myself wearing this one a lot! Do you own any of the cremesheen lipsticks?
