The Review: theBalm Mary-Lou Manizer

As far as powder highlighter goes, I'm a pretty monogamous gal, seeing as theBalm's Mary-Lou Manizer (€ 24.68) is the only one I use. A seperate review is thus long overdue.

What you get
The package contains 8 grams of product. This will literally last a lifetime and, compaired to the little pans of highlighter you often get, this is good value for money (albeit somewhat expensive, I admit).

The product itself I'd describe as giving a peachy/gold glow. It doesn't contain chunks of glitter, but it does give quite a high sheen. So if you are looking for a really subtle glow, this one is not for you. Because this is a finely milled powder, it gives you that whole 'glow from within' look. So lovely.

How I use it
I prefer to put it on the high points of my cheeks and the inner corner of my eyes. I don't like the look of it on the bridge of the nose, though I don't often put highlighter on there anyways.

Verdict
This one ticks all the boxes for me: it's not too warm or cold, so I can use it during Winter/Summer, it stays put and it does not make me look like a glitter ball - in fact, it just makes me look really healthy.

Have you tried theBalm's Mary-Lou Manizer? What are your thoughts?
