Although I am fond of my brown shadows and probably own way too many variations, I find champagne/gold-ish shades the easiest to wear and possibly the most flattering on me.
Champagne or gold colors make your eyes (and especially blues or greens) appear more open and awake, when brown can sometimes drag them down or make the overall eye-area look darker. A lighter shade with some slight, fine shimmer always looks flattering and fits any kind of look.
These are some of my favorites:
- For a shadow option I prefer Sin from the original Urban Decay Naked Palette (€ 53.58), or MAC's All That Glitters and Naked Lunch (€ 10.00 each).
- If you are more of a cream eyeshadow gal, you can go for something like Chanel's Illusion D'Ombre in Emerveille (€ 30.00) or the Maybelline Color Tattoo in Pink Gold (€ 7.04).
