I can't believe I haven't written about this before. Estée Lauder's Advanced Night Repair is well-known among beauty bloggers. It's also a high-end product, at € 70.50 for 30 ml.
So, for that tough question everyone asks : is it worth the splurge?
First of all, this product is targeted at older skin than mine (I'm 24). That aside, I wanted to give it a go myself to see why everyone loves it so much.
EL recommends use once a month to repair your skin overnight. For maximum results, I use it during that time of the month (very TMI). I do notice a real difference. Nothing you can put your finger on, just a general improvement: healthy-looking skin.
That's nice right? So why not use it daily? As the name suggests, it 'repairs' the skin. You simply don't need this every night. Besides, it's a luxury product. Not fit for daily use.
So, is it worth the splurge? Yes and no. If you have more mature skin, you will see more results. However, if you are my age and you want to treat yourself, go ahead. It is a great product. When used one week a month like me, I reckon it will last a good year or more.
A tricky one, considering the price tag. But a genius product, nonetheless. Worth the hype!
