After my AM routine, it is now time for my PM routine. This has a lot of similar products as the AM one, but I will give a more in-depth review of my two extra steps of the evening routine.
Step 1: Cocoya Extra Virgin Coconut Oil - Holy grail. I don't want to ever use anything else. I mainly use it as a cleansing oil, as I prefer an as-natural-as-possible cleanser. Many are so abrasive and my skin doesn't require that; I don't use heavy makeup and don't have many problem areas. Coconut oil ticks all the boxes: it's gentle, gets my makeup off, moisturizes, and feels great. At night, I like to give my face a massage with it and take it off with a damp cloth. It works therapeutic!
Step 2: Bioderma H2O Micellar Solution (about £15) - In the evenings I use this to get any residue of the coconut oil off my face. I usually let the residue sit on my face for a couple of minutes, but before I go on to moisturizing, I do like to get it off my face.
Step 3: La Roche-Posay Serozinc (about £10.00) - I always use this after Bioderma. The antibacterial and anti-inflammatory characteristics seem to work well for my skin.
Step 4: Clarins Gentle Exfoliator Brightening Toner (£25.00) - A twice-weekly occurrence for me. Some use it every day, but I find that an overkill on my skin, so I use it once during the weekend and once mid-week. This gets all the extra dirt off and makes your skin feel squeaky clean.
Step 5: L'Oréal Skin Perfection Serum (£16.99) and Moisturizer (£14.99) - As I said in the AM post, these are just the ones I'm using at the moment. Serums and moisturizers rotate the most in my skincare routine. But I do like these, as I said in my review on them.
Step 6: Arran Aromatics Green Tea Eye Gel (£3.50) - Lovely, lovely, lovely. It moisturizes my dry under-eye area and it feels so smooth.
Step 7: Clarins Moisture Replenishing Lip Balm (£18.00) - Again, holy grail. I will repurchase this again and again, although I recently bought the Nuxe Rêve de Miel one…
