Aaah London, forever one of my favorite cities. Being such a well-known place, it can be daunting trying to squeeze everything you want to see / do / eat in a couple of days. That's why I created this little guide, containing all of my must do's.
Travel Tips
The tube is the easiest way of transport. I prefer getting an Oyster Card (£ 5.00), which is a rechargeable card. And it won't be a waste, because you will visit again, right?
I recommend a hotel in a neighborhood you are less likely to visit, so you see different parts of London ; like citizenM on the Bankside. The tube gets you everywhere quickly anyways.
What to see ?
Though you can get around with the tube most efficiently, London has beautiful streets worth walking. If you have the time, explore the city by foot. You'll see amazing things.
Architecture-wise, go to the obvious ones like Millenium Bridge, St. Paul's Cathedral, the Gherkin, Covent Garden , Trafalgar Square. However, interesting structures like the Barbican Centre and the houses in Notting Hill are worth a visit, if you like quirky buildings.

No matter what the weather is like, a visit to a couple of parks is vital in my opinion. Primrose Hill, St. James's Park and the Kensington Gardens are great for a lovely stroll.
What to visit ?
London has a great selection of museums and historical sites. The ones I enjoyed most are the British Museum and its stunning dome, the Tower Of London, Somerset House and Westminster Abbey. I also loved Madame Tussauds, though it can get a bit crowded.
Shopping can be a dangerous affair in London. My favorite places are Selfridges, Covent Garden, Carnaby Street, New Bond Street, Liberty and Boots.
Where to eat ?
There is an abundance of restaurants in London. Some places I enjoy are Wahaca (Mexican), The Breakfast Club (very busy!), The Roof of Selfridges (combining shopping and eating, win win), Smack Lobster (*drools*) and local markets like Borough Market.
