READING REVERIES : Summer Reading

With the Summer holidays just a month away, I am starting to collect some books I would like to read the next couple of months. Of course, these fit in my the Reading Challenge I am partaking in this year.
Number 11 by Jonathan Coe - "A satirical book"
I've always enjoyed Coe's books; his unique writing style very much speaks to me and I've enjoyed everything I've read of him so far. Finding out he has a new novel got me excited immediately. I have a feeling this one takes the p*ss out of how we live now and I am sure I will laugh profoundly the entire time.

1Q84 by Haruki Murakami - "A book that's more than 600 pages"
Murakami is an author you either love or hate. Since I've never read anything of his so far, I am looking forward to this interesting and futuristic concept. This one is about a girl and a boy who live in Tokyo in the year 1?84. The rest is pretty unclear but I'm eager to find out.

Sapiens by Yuval Noah Harari - "A book translated into English"
This novel handles the history of our people, the history of humankind. I was very much intrigued by the concept of this novel : to sum up an entire history of our humankind in one interesting novel surely is an achievement. I've heard many great things about this one and I am very keen to learn some new things about our history.

The Royal We by Heather Cocks - "A book that's guaranteed to bring you joy"
This one I read last year and I absolutely loved every page. So much so that I know it will bring me joy again. If you like Will & Kate's story, this is based entirely on it, and you will want it to go on forever.

What is on your reading list this Summer?
